All of Skiddle’s biggest and best events in October 2022 to kick off your autumn with a bang.

It may seem that now the sun’s gone into hibernation that all the fun’s over. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.

With Halloween looming, Manchester’s Warehouse Project, some huge artists touring, and even a few festivals to groove at, there are many events in October 2022 to take a peek at.

So if you’re wondering what’s on in October, check out the awe-inspiring events below.

Where: Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh

Just because summer’s over doesn’t mean there aren’t still devilishly brilliant festivals to let loose at. The jewel in the electronic music festival crown, Terminal V, returns with a scarily cracking lineup for Halloween.

Huge names, including Camelphat, FJAAK, Richie Hawtin, Skream, and more, will dominate the decks for 12 hours of incredible tunes and immaculate vibes.

Terminal V is renowned for its lineups, mindblowing production, and warming, passionate crowds who live to revel in tunes spun by some of the world's greatest artists. Head over to The Royal Highland Centre this Halloween for a show you won’t soon forget.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

When: Multiple dates through October and beyond

Now an overworked employee of The Ministry of Magic, Harry grapples with his past while raising three children, including Albus, who’s struggling under the weight of the remarkable Potter legacy.

Acclaimed author J.K Rowling’s new story about the wizard we all know and love will be brought to life at The Palace Theatre this October. This is the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage, which is magical in itself. But the show is also the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards, including Best New Play.

With multi-award-winners Jack Thorne and John Tiffany behind the scenes, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is as amazing as it is engaging.

Where: Boiler Shop, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Arguably the best event in the calendar has finally come around - Oktoberfest! We reckon there’s no better way to kick off a jolly autumn than with a few steins, bratwurst, and tunes.

Find the party at Newcastle’s brilliant Boiler Shop, transformed to honour Oktoberfest celebrations. Sit yourself down for a laugh and chat with mates on Bavarian trestle tables before diving headfirst into the traditional festival with steins full of delicious German beers, a cheeky sausage or two, and German pretzels.

Expect a lively atmosphere courtesy of oompah bands playing singalong tunes and performers all night long.

Where: The Loft, Manchester

Relatively new to Manchester, having opened last year, The Loft has some cracking events going down this October. One for those with stamina, their Paloma party kicks off at 11 and keeps the tunes rolling out and the crowd jumping until 5 am.

Paranoid London will be taking over the venue’s impeccable sound system, as well as Manchester’s own Natalia, and EJ & Rosa. Head over to hear the delicious sounds of acid house, electro, and synth rippling through the air as you sip your third vodka diet coke.

With a stripped-back but charming interior, a mega sound system, and the tagline “a big kids nursery where the fun never stops”, you know any night at The Loft is going to bang.

The iconic Boiler Room is coming to Bristol’s Propyard! A brilliant venue for grooving to tunes all night long, Propyard is a tall, industrial-style former factory building with high windows and steel beams - perfect for late-night raving.

As such a huge, well-known brand is bringing house and techno tunes to Bristolian ravers for a six-hour party, naturally, everyone wants in. This Friday event is actually the second Bristol Boiler Room date, added purely due to high demand after the Saturday event sold out.

So if you’re eager to smash up the dancefloor with your mates to thumping house and techno tunes, secure your tickets now or miss out on the madness!

Spellbinding, weird, and ground breaking in equal measures, the Circus of Horrors is one of the best family events in October 2022!

If you’re eager to see what freaky tricks these incredible talents can pull off, but you can't make it to Blackpool, that's fine. This wild performance is coming to other parts of the UK too, including London, Aberdeen, Newbury, and more. Oh, and £6 has been slashed off the price of each ticket!

Halloween, hands down, has to be one of the best holidays. If you’re a kid, you get sweets. If you’re an adult, you get sick raves! And Blackstone Street Warehouse’s legendary Circus Halloween rave is the one we’re dying for.

The lineup is gorgeous, with heavy-weight DJ duo Solardo topping the bill. But before they hit the decks, there’s Eats Everything, Andrea Oliva, Sosa, Sarah Story, and Lopez to warm up the crowds.

A nine-hour day party, doors open at 2 pm and the tunes will be uniting the crowd as they groove up until 11 pm. With a lineup to smash all others out of the park, a brilliant venue, and of course, the lovely party people of Liverpool, it’s going to be one for the books.

Tickets are already flying out for this, so don't hang about!

If you’re thinking about snagging tickets, now’s the time! Tickets flew out to this spectacular event, selling out rapidly. The tickets available on Skiddle now are simply due to a small number of refunded tickets being put back on sale due to the performance being rescheduled.

Having drummed up a lot of excitement for its opening, we can’t say we aren’t counting down the days until Crane’s opening party. 2,700 people will unite in the huge industrial warehouse to jam all night long to some huge DJs.

The party will be headlined by tech house heroes Solardo. But before they step up to hypnotise the crowd, Hannah Wants, Danny Howard, Eli Brown, and more will set the tone for the evening, opening up your senses to a glorious nine hours of hedonism.

With many tickets already gone, it’s a brilliant idea to secure your tickets now to Birmingham’s biggest, best opening party.

The Warehouse Project is one of the most prestigious electronic music events in Manchester. The UK, even. On DJ Mag's list of the Top 100 Clubs in the World, Warehouse Project stands righteously at number eight, above Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, and Pacha in Ibiza. Yeah, it’s that good.

This October, they’ve got a number of star-studded events to dance at until your legs turn to jelly. And The APE Birthday is one of them! There are loads of incredible artists on its lineup, including Craig David Presents TS5, Wilkinson, Shy FX, Mike Skinner, Skream, and many more unbelievable talents. It’ll be mindblowing.
